Tree; leaves oblong; male flowers cymose, 5(–4)-merous, calyx divided to middle, corolla urceolate, stamens 14–36; female flowers solitary, 5–7-merous; calyx and corolla as in male but larger, ovary 14–16-locular, staminodes 15–21ว fruit barrel-shaped 5–6 cm in diam., truncate, endosperm smooth. Distributed in Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo, Philippines and Peninsular Thailand, evergreen forest, 200–400 m.-->
