Trekking

Unspoiled forest is the highest dream of adventure and challenge lover. There are many routes for trekking, such as, to remotely beautiful waterfall--which has never been entered by anyone, or on top of Sky-scrapper Mountain--which only doughty person can get there. These routes may require trekker to walk over one mountain and another, and take overnight camping for days. In fact, it is not that too difficult if visitors take well preparing.

Preparing
At first, visitors should ask for the information of the area from the national park's office, such as, condition of the route, weather in the area, and geography, then schedule the using time and target, day by day, and don't forget to make an appointment with the park's officer for leading the trip.

The next important thing to prepare is mind and physical healthiness of visitors in which will be used to fall apart the obstacles happened along the way.

Outdoor Gears
There are necessary things for trekking trail that visitors have to bring together, as follows.

  • Outfit should be long sleeves shirt, full-length trouser, dry easily and comfortable. Each visitors should bring three outfits--one for daytime, another for nighttime, and the last one for the day back. Woolen coat or raincoat should be brought together--this depends on the weather of that area.

  • Shoes or boots that are well fit the owner, not too hard, too soft, and too much weight. visitors should wear socks to prevent graze during walking.

  • Hat is to use for protecting its owner from sunlight, and prickle while that person walks through bushes.

  • Backpack should be suitable for its owner's body, usually not over 20% of the owner's weight. When the backpack has so much weight, visitors should use waist belt to transfer its weight to the visitor's waist and body.

  • Tent should be brought only suitable for the visitors, and, or using hammock is a kind of expedient because it is light and easy taking. Moreover, one thing so important is plastic sheet for covering over the tent to prevent rain and dew.

  • Other necessary gears are personal medicine, sleeping bag, flashlight, camping knife, water canteen, outdoor cooking utensil, rubbish bag, 2-3 cords with 2-3 meters, etc.

  • Supply should be prepared, in general, more than the schedule about two meals because visitors may accidentally stay in the forest longer than expected. In addition, visitors should prepare food for the park's officer who lead the trip. That is for showing generosity.

  • Trekking Instruction

  • Continuously walking, do not walk in a hurry.

  • Walking in line, the follower should always see the leader, and the leader should wait for the follower if he or she is out of sign, until seeing each other then gets going.

  • Do not make loud noise, it is not only no use but also reduced the chance to meet wild animals along the route.

  • Take a rest 5-10 minutes every 1-2 hours, not rest more because visitors will be more tired than ever before.

  • Do not go out of the route and go trekking alone, even set-off or go-back trip. When doing so, and before the visitors can be realized, he or she may be lost in the forest already.

  • When find drinking water, please fill the water canteen every time.
