Publication Ethics

Thai Forest Bulletin (Botany) - here referred to as TFB (Botany) - aims to be a responsible research publication upholding the principles of editorial independence and integrity. The editors of TFB (Botany) take seriously concerns about plagiarism and other forms of fraud and misconduct in academic publishing. We consider it an essential part of our ethical responsibilities for our editors to be aware of and to meet these challenges and to develop strategies for coping with them. We expect the same awareness of our journal's peer reviewers.

In addition, TFB (Botany) is committed to ethical standards in its own editorial policy and the editorial board will do their best to ensure a fair, unbiased, and transparent peer review process. Editorial decisions should be made on academic merit alone and any detected cases of misconduct, whether on the part of authors, reviewers or editors, will be vigorously pursued.

To support and promote integrity in research publication, we fully endorse the position statements for editors and authors that were developed at the 2nd World Conference on Research Integrity in Singapore in 2010:

Position Statement 1: International Standards for Editors

Position Statement 2: International Standards for Authors
